لتعرف "من هو الله"، عليك أن تقرأ في أسمائه الحسنى التي تعبر عن كماله المطلق. الله ليس مجرد قوة خفية، بل هو الخالق، البارئ، المصور، والرحيم.
To know "Who is Allah," you must study His Beautiful Names which express His absolute perfection. Allah is not just a hidden force; He is the Creator, the Evolver, the Fashioner, and the Merciful.
الواحد (The One): تفرد في ذاته وصفاته، لا شريك له.
الرحمن الرحيم (The Especially Merciful, The Entirely Merciful): رحمته وسعت كل شيء، وهي الصفة الأكثر تكراراً في القرآن الكريم.
العليم (The All-Knowing): الذي يحيط بكل شيء علماً، ما كان وما سيكون.
The One: Unique in His essence and attributes, He has no partner.
The Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful: His mercy encompasses all things, and this is the most frequently mentioned attribute in the Holy Quran.
The All-Knowing: He whose knowledge encompasses all things, past and future.

- المصدر: هذه القائمة هي الأشهر في العالم الإسلامي، وقد أوردها الإمام الترمذي وغيره، واجتهد العلماء في استخراجها من القرآن والسنة.
- العدد: ذكر العلماء أن أسماء الله لا تنحصر في 99 فقط، لقول النبي ﷺ في دعائه: "...أو استأثرت به في علم الغيب عندك"، ولكن الـ 99 هي التي "من أحصاها دخل الجنة".
- التوقيفية: أسماء الله "توقيفية"، أي لا يجوز لنا أن نسمي الله باسم من تلقاء أنفسنا، بل بما سمى به نفسه في كتابه أو سماه به رسوله.
Important Notes Regarding This List:
- The Source: This list is the most renowned in the Islamic world; it was recorded by Imam Al-Tirmidhi and others. Scholars have exerted great effort to derive these names directly from the Quran and the Sunnah.
- The Number: Scholars have noted that the Names of Allah are not limited to only 99. This is based on the Prophet’s ﷺ supplication: "...or which You have kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You." However, these specific 99 names are the ones for which the Prophet said: "Whosoever counts (and preserves) them will enter Paradise."
- Divine Revelation (Tawqifiyyah): The Names of Allah are "Tawqifiyyah" (ordained by revelation). This means we are not permitted to name Allah according to our own whims; rather, we must use only the names He has used for Himself in His Book or those mentioned by His Messenger.
