التوكل الكامل: الاعتماد بالقلب على الله مع الأخذ بالأسباب، فالمعتصم بالله لا يخشى تقلبات الدنيا.
الصحبة الصالحة: الالتفاف حول من يذكرونك بالله، فالمؤمن للمؤمن كالبنيان المرصوص يشد بعضه بعضاً.
تجديد التوبة: الاعتصام يتطلب قلباً نظيفاً، لذا فإن الاستغفار الدائم يقوي صلتك بالله ويحميك من زلل النفس.

(God)Allha Almighty in the Quran says: "And whoever holds firmly to Allah has [already] been guided to a straight path." (Al-Imran: 101)

Shahr bin Hawshab said: I asked Umm Salamah (the Prophet's wife): "O Mother of the Believers, what was the supplication that the Messenger of Allah(PBUH)made most often when he was with you?" She said: "The supplication he made most often was:"Ya Muqallibal-qulub, thabbit qalbi 'ala dinik"

هذا الدعاء علمه النبي ﷺ لمعاذ بن جبل ليقوله دبر كل صلاة:
عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ رضي الله عنه، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ، وَقَالَ:"يَا مُعَاذُ، وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ، وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ" فَقَالَ: "أُوصِيكَ يَا مُعَاذُ لَا تَدَعَنَّ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ تَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ".

Narrated by Mu'adh bin Jabal (May Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) took my hand and said:"O Mu'adh, by Allah, I love you! By Allah, I love you!" Then he said: "I advise you, O Mu'adh, never to leave off saying at the end of every prayer: O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You in the best way."
